Azerbaijan - Great Britain Joint Venture ŤAzEuroTelť was established in 1995 by the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan Republic and ŤLUKoil Europe Ltdť. ŤAzEuroTelť is an operator of the modern digital ŤSystem Xť Exchange 492/497/437, based on technology of the British company ŤGPT Ltdť.

Founders
ŤLUKoil Europe Ltdť and the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan Republic hold 50% equity each.

License
ŤAzEuroTelť has the license from the Ministry of Communication (š002 of 01.07.1996) allowing following types of activity:

provision of services for local telephone network of Baku;
provision of services for national and international telephone communication;
provision of the trunk communication services;
Provision of data transmission services;
