Technical progress is constantly developing. If some years ago 64 kbps speed was enough for downloading or viewing some kind of web sites, now even culinary recipes are provided in Internet with animation and in order to view them very high speed and sufficient traffic memory is required.
Thus, starting from March 1, 2009 for convenience of our clients we provide new tariff packages with high speed and large traffic volume.
Moreover, price for 1 GB traffic on all speeds is reduced in twice.

   In view of lasting campaign upon disruption of AzEuroTel’s image in the eyes of subscribers accomplished by “Aztelekom” PA, spreading groundless rumors about cease of connection services to subscribers of Exchange 492/497/437 we would like to inform:
   1. Incoming and outgoing connection of subscribers of Exchange 492/497/437 to all other Exchanges in Baku is implemented only through equipment of AzEuroTel and is provided in the fullest extent.
   2. “Aztelekom” PA merely attempts to narrow international access of our subscribers to Azerbaijan regions as well as subscribers of mobile communication and unilaterally threaten to close channels from February 24, 2009.
   Considering that nobody has the right to infringe rights of citizens on connection services as well as having Decree of Local Economic Court # 1 dated from February 20, 2009 which sets forth that “Aztelekom” PA is prohibited to cease connection services provided to users of Telephone Exchange with 492/497/437 indexes as well as ordered to eliminate any obstacles from “Aztelekom” PA side in interconnections with regional and mobile operators implemented through “Aztelekom” PA, provide interconnection in the volume required to “AzEuroTel” JV”, so
AzEuroTel once again officially declares that the whole responsibility for failure to provide access to subscribers of Exchange 492/497/437 to Azerbaijan regions and subscribers of mobile connection will be covered by “Aztelekom” PA.

International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has awarded AzEuroTel Company with Anniversary Certificate for support and contribution towards activity of ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D) for the last 10 years.
Since September 1998 AzEuroTel is a member of ITU Telecommunication Development Sector (ITU-D), taking part in all ITU initiatives, participating in different conferences, work groups sessions, trainings and exhibitions organized by ITU. So, we were the only representatives from Azerbaijan on ITU World Telecom 1999, 2003. Participating with our stand, we conducted on-line reporting from the exhibition and anyone could see the exhibition by visiting our web-site.
Our representatives actively participate in ITU-D Sector sessions. This gives to AzEuroTel Company an opportunity to be aware of the latest ITU initiatives as well as proceed with its strong contribution so as to develop the information-communication technologies.

Chairman of Standing Commission on Economic Policy of Milli Parliament, Academician Ziyad Samed-zadeh presents to Mr. Rizvan Safarov, representative of “AzEuroTel”, Deputy General Director, Intellekt-2007 prize in the nomination “For High Quality of Provided Services”.

   The solemn ceremony on Presentation of “INTELLEKT-2007” Prize was held on 15th December 2007 in Guba Ball Room, Hyatt Regency Hotel.
Intellekt Prize was founded jointly by IT Magazine and Azerbaijan Association on Project Management. This prize is annually presented for “The Best Project of the Year” in several economic spheres. The owners of this prize are the persons, companies, institutions that can combine into one experience, ideas, technologies and use them for the economical development in our country.
Mr. Nuri Ahmadov, General Director of “AzEuroTel” was honoured with INTELLEKT-2007 prize in the nomination “The Best Manager of the Year in Communications and Information Technologies field”.
INTELLEKT-2007 prize in the nomination “For High Quality of Provided Services” was gained by the staff of “AzEuroTel”. “AzEuroTel” has been already working on telecommunication market of Azerbaijan over 10 years.
